Blue Forest Story is a classic styled, turn-based JRPG set in a fantasy world. Select one of the two major characters and play through the intertwining plot lines on a journey to save the world.

In terms of graphics, ignoring the silly attempts at fan service the spritework in the game has held up well while the 3D cutscenes are quite rough. Gameplay is your standard JRPG fare with battles that fortunately go fast, since the encounter rate is obnoxiously high. Music and sound effects aren't anything special. One of the bad design decisions made by the developers is to have equipment that can break. However, if you want a short JRPG to run through, Blue Forest Story clocks in at less than 10 hours.
